DESCRIPTION:
A Project Engineer's primary responsibility is to provide accurate information to the Project Manager to ensure project compliance with plans, codes, specifications and design instructions. Assist in evaluations and solution or potential field problems, referring them to Project Management. Perform all essential functions and responsibilities in conjunction with the company's values and beliefs in alignment with Fisk's policies so that the construction process is completed to the client's full satisfaction and at the Company's expected levels of safety, quality, and profitability.
As a Project Engineer at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist with development of startup checklist and site logistics plan
- Assist with development of quality control plan
- Assist with and monitor permit processes
- Prepare closeout log
- Participate in and document owner training
- Compile as-built drawings
- Administer RFI process
- Develop submittal log and administer submittal process
- Document job site meetings
- Verification of project materials
- Develop and maintain material expediting log
- Coordinate and/or conduct quality control inspections
- Establish record and permit sets of documents
- Create and maintain document logs
- Post document revisions
- Create, distribute and expedite sub response to RFPs
- Assist with subcontractor and vendor insurance and bond
- Process progress photos
- Assist in preparation of Owner Change Requests
- Assist with preparation of project status reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- Four (4) year Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and work related experience
- MS Office experience with Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
