Job Description
Stark Tech is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to perform design, development, implementation, and analysis of projects from concept to completion. Perform engineering design tasks with industry standard techniques. This role will handle the preparation of plans, designs, calculations, equipment selections, prefabricated skids and engineering reports. Have experience working with buildings codes and standards, performing sizing calculations, perform energy savings calculations, and supports project team in construction.
This role will directly support the design/development and project execution work for the equipment solutions part of the turnkey group. This role will assume an initial major focus with key national accounts working on building audits, reporting, skid modeling and project management.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to think quickly to resolve problems in real time. Strong organizational skills along with close attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ensuring conformity to project requirements, maintaining detailed project records, and participating in construction activities are critical to ensure projects are successful.

- Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, equipment specification, system design, system layout, field investigation, and construction administration.
- Development of concepts, construction documents and engineering reports.
- Focus daily as needed to ensure that project objectives are met.
- Ability to work on multiple small and large projects simultaneously.
- Evaluate energy efficiency options, cost benefit comparisons and life cycle cost analysis.
- Self-manage workload to targeted project financial performance and schedule.
- Proficient with time management to follow the various detailed phases of projects.
- Supports the QA/AC process of the teams completed work.
- Participate in client and business development.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in AutoCAD related to preparation of construction documents.
- Proficient in Inventor (or other 3D modeling software) related to the preparation of prefabricated skid drawings.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience in facility infrastructure systems required.
- Traveling is required to perform energy/HVAC infrastructure audits to support national accounts.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work and interact at all levels of an organization required.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
What we would love to see?
- Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Experience with HVAC equipment and systems.
