Overview: As a Project Coordinator for MERRILL Technologies group, you will be responsible for ensuring that jobs and projects progress according to schedule, budget, and work order description. Working under the direction of Project Managers and Quality Project Managers, a Project Coordinator will resolve issues related to customer provided material or facilitate communications with Supply Chain Management on purchased material to ensure proper certifications and materials are received according to schedules.
Job Functions: Communicating with internal Project Managers, Plant Managers, Inventory Managers, and other internal personnel. Review shop order schedules to determine status and communicate with stakeholders. Work with PMs to create schedules and action logs in order to keep personnel informed and updated on project status.
Help manage resources cost-effectively. Hold/attend key informational and follow-up meetings. Facilitate routing/completion of alterations.
At all stages of the project, will keep jobs on schedule, within budget, and will inform PMs regarding status through completion. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Project Management certification or other higher-level education (or equivalent industry experience) preferred.
No experience required, but experience in manufacturing (machine tool industry) and/or project management encouraged Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Ability to work well with others in all levels of the organization.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as required.
