Job Description
Responsibilities:
- You support and advise our domestic and international customers regarding language-related services and serve as a contact person during ongoing projects, incl. actively onboarding new customers.
- You create, manage, plan and monitor translation and language-related projects of varying complexity.
- You set up and supervise appropriate translation teams, considering the qualifications of all stakeholders and the requirements of the project.
- You pre- and post-process material for translation and perform final check of the layout of the translated documents using standard software programs, such as MS Office Suite, OCR programs, desktop publishing and e-learning authoring and development software.
- You ensure a continuous flow of information and extensive and complete communication regarding your projects between all internal and external stakeholders.
- You carry out final checks before delivery.
- You continuously monitor the costs of your projects, check invoices from Language Service Providers and generate invoices for completed services.
- You support the development of our Language Service Providers.
Qualification:
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of pharmaceutical or other regulated industry full-time experience preferred
- B. A. or higher education preferred
- PMP certification or comparable qualification in project management preferred
- Good to very good knowledge of the English and Spanish language, other languages are an advantage
- Basic experience in working with linguistic projects a strong plus
- Good knowledge of complex file formats, such as from desktop publishing and e-learning authoring and development software, and their translation-related requirements, including file preparation requirements
- Highly proficient in technology systems and reporting, incl. project management systems, computer-assisted translation tools, MS Office Suite (in particular, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Articulate Storyline and/or Rise and FS Pro a strong plus

- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, through verbal and written communication
- Ability to work under time pressure, prioritize tasks and react to changes with flexibility
- Ability to deal with time constraints and effectively coordinate deadlines
- Must be detail-oriented and organized with excellent follow through
- Ability to handle confidential information and build trust throughout all levels of the organization
- Ability to take initiative and work independently under minimal supervision
