Project Coordinator
Urbandale, Iowa - Full Time
Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Urbandale, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will provide management and leadership to work teams for the successful delivery of strategic business projects or product introductions by gathering necessary resources, establishing priorities, and delivering outcomes that are focused on business growth, products, and/or improving customer satisfaction or channel partner development.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Lead work teams to gather necessary resources and establish priorities in support of strategic business initiatives or product introductions.
- Identify the project deliverable, direct the design of the project plan, and lead the execution of the plan.
- Ensure projects are developed with realistic outcomes, business objectives and customer satisfaction targets.
- Determine and secure resources to assure successful completion of a project.
- Monitor ongoing project/program status and maintain communications with business unit leadership and affected stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience initiating, planning, executing, and leading project plans.
- Experience utilizing technical or project data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and technical documentation skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating and implementing process improvements.
- Familiarity with IT environments.
- Mechanical knowledge using various data systems (ex. SAP).
- Mechanical background doing simple engine repair or maintenance.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Associates of Arts or bachelor's degrees in one of the following fields: Business Management Discipline, Computer Science Discipline, or Engineering Technology Discipline.
- Certification in project management a plus (ex. CAPM, PMP)
