Job Overview:
As an SEO Specialist contractor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our client’s online presence and driving organic traffic to their websites. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective SEO strategies tailored to the business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for increased online visibility.
- Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, and content, to improve search engine rankings.
- Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for website improvements.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics.
- Generate regular internal and client ready reports on key SEO metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist with a focus on improving organic search performance.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Google Looker Studio, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and web development teams.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.
