Child Development Specialist **Play Based Therapy**

Organic Play & Therapy is setting the precedent for pediatric clients, their families & mentoring for therapists alike. We are looking for creative, self-driven individuals that seek to have integral roles in the development of an Early start program working with children ages 0 to 3 years old through Play-Based therapy. Professionals seeking a position in early intervention and interested in play-based therapy are highly encouraged to apply. We provide training, company wellness events and co-treat across disciplines, OT, Speech & PT.

A Child Development Specialist provides the families with coaching to promote growth and development of the child/infant. CDS’ will follow the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to ensure goals are met both semi-annually and a closing report when the child ages out at 3 years old. Using the model of play-based therapy our goal is to help the child/infant reach their developmental goals with fun play! An understanding of the five domains cognitive, social emotional, language development, adaptive (daily life skills), fine and gross motor is highly recommended.

• Position available: Floater with flexibility to build your own caseload.
• Note: For experienced CDS

Ideally candidates:

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, early childhood, teaching OR related field.
• Experienced with Early Intervention
• Home Based Service Delivery Experience Preferred
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
