Project Analyst Summer Internship

Internship Summary/Purpose: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization has an opening for a Project Analyst Intern. Compensation: Based on qualifications, experience and education level.
Overview: The Project Analyst will play a key role in supporting project management activities by focusing on the collection, analysis, and reporting of project data to enhance decision-making and ensure project success. The primary focus will be to support the successful, on-time deployment of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) in key areas of Master Data Management (MDM), Change Management (CM), and Risk Management (RM). They are instrumental in conducting detailed analysis project requirements, performance metrics, financial data, and other key project elements. This position is based on site at our Bolingbrook, Il facility and will report to Eric Clepper - VP Business Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
The three main support focus areas are Master Data Management, Change Management, and Risk Management for the OTM Phase 2 (P2) project deployment.
Change Management Support:

• Change Impact Analysis: Assess the impact of proposed changes on project scope, timelines, and resources. Analyst how changes could affect project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Change Implementation Support: Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of changes by all stakeholders. This includes preparing communication plans, training materials, and other resources to facilitate change.
• Monitoring and Reporting on Change Adoption: Track the progress of change implementation within the project, reporting on adoption rates, and identifying areas where additional support may be needed.

Risk Management Support:

• Risk Identification and Analysis: Proactively identify potential risks to the project's timelines, budget, and quality. Analyze the potential impact of identified risks and prepare risk mitigation strategies.
• Risk Monitoring: Continuously monitor project activities for new risks and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Master Data Management Support:

• Data Governance Support: Assist in the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of master data across the project.
• Data Quality Analysis: Regularly review and analyze the quality of master data to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or gaps. Recommend and implement corrective action to improve data quality.
• Master Data Maintenance: support the maintenance of master data by coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure that master data is updated and synchronized across systems as necessary.
• Focuses on gathering and analyzing project data, conducting surveys, and performing detailed documentation of project processes and use cases.
• Support decision making processes by providing data-driven insights and ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up to date.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret results, and derive actionable insights.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., Oracle Transportation Management, SAP, WMS systems) and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and collaboration with team members.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial for accurate data collection, analysis, and documentation.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and discrepancies in projet data or processes and recommend solutions.
• Actively enrolled in a degreed program from an accredited university/college in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Preference will be given to individuals who are currently in their 3rd - 4th year (e.g. junior or senior year).
• Ability to follow company policies and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed.
• Ability to understand the impact this role has on our department or company.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good collaboration skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to learn additional programs as needed.

Internships within Enru provide student mentoring, and skill development opportunities. Interns will learn about various business and operational processes while applying their skills to specific projects and becoming acquainted with working in a professional environment. As part of the Enru project teams, our interns produce deliverables within deadlines. They also learn how to communicate effectively in the workplace. At the end of the internship, students will present to the Enru leadership team highlights of their internship experience.
