JLAN Solutions is a woman-owned government consulting firm that partners with federal and state agencies for awarded and proposed government contracts. We are currently recruiting for a proposal for the Federal Administration Aviation’s Air Traffic Engineering and Program Support II. This program supports the FAA's Air Traffic Organization Program Management Organization, the group responsible for program development for the National Airspace System. Within this contract, we’ll work alongside teams to streamline program management, system engineering and development, and implementation efforts to the PMO’s NextGen programs and systems that are designed to enhance the safety, efficiency, and capacity of the NAS. As a Project Analyst, you’ll work with Project Managers, Systems Engineers and Developers, and Business Analysts to measure and analyze project metrics, timelines, goals, and deliverables to ensure efficiency and success within the program.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work as part of the program management team whose core responsibility is to, analyze, and report on data collected
- Particular focus will be on building, maintaining, and analyzing schedules and budgets
- Responsible for developing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports on business related metrics
- Identify potential project trends and risks to management and supports creation of cost estimates for procurement actions
- Develop business systems and processes based on user needs and requirements and test quality assurance when needed
- Devise or modify procedures to enable management to make program decisions based on cost benefit analysis and schedule considerations
- Serve as an expert contributor in particular business processes responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization's business plan and industry requirements
- Provide guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree, or an Associates’ Degree and 3 years’ relevant experience, or High School diploma and 5 years’ relevant experience
- 5-15 years of Project Analyst I, II, or III experience, preferably within the federal or FAA space
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and collaborate cohesively
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Project, Power Point, and Word.
- 2+ years of experience working within project management systems, such as Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Adept at creating mathematical models and providing quantitative methods related to business processes/ practices
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with data/BI systems
This position is in the proposal phase and has not yet been awarded, therefore a Letter of Intent is required to be included on the proposal.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
