Description

Position Summary

Provides primary assistance to assigned corporate project managers encompassing analytical and administrative duties including coordinating and preparing management reports, maintaining project files, documenting task status and project meetings. May chair project meetings for selected key projects and serve as backup to Chair of Project Oversight Committee. As part of the overall corporate project management function, aids in coordinating project reviews, portfolio oversight and coordination of certain committee oversight activities. Provide administration of BPIs and level I and II projects. All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in compliance with applicable regulations, bank policies, procedures and methodologies, adherence to bank security policies and confidentiality of bank records and customer information.

Qualifications

General Qualifications

Required Education/Knowledge:

  • High school diploma
  • Related administrative experience
  • Bank/financial services industry experience

Preferred Education/Knowledge:

  • College degree or appropriate work experience
  • Project Management Certification desired, but not required based on experience

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years' experience as project or executive administrator
  • 3-4 years' experience in financial services/banking

Preferred Experience:

  • 3 years' experience in project administration

Required Skills:

  • General understanding of project management methodologies and technical terms
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of bank policies, procedures and banking laws and regulations
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Able to anticipate needs and ability to initiate steps to resolve issues
  • Strong attention to detail in composing, proofing, establishing priorities, scheduling, meeting deadlines and managing resource allocations
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple competing tasks and demands, even across different projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to interact and communicate (orally and in writing) with individual at all levels of the organization, up to and including Board level.
