Job Summary:

• Provide financial management and support to professional delivery teams, providing a full range of financial support beginning with the project set-up stage through planning, billing, and collections. You will be an instrumental part of our team, working closely with Finance colleagues as well as Client Project Managers. This role will have visibility with all levels within the firm.

Accountability and Duties:

• Open new projects ensuring that all necessary information for project management, including billing, is properly captured and entered
• Support active client projects including changes in phases and or project or billing managers as necessary. Provide reporting on financial status and outlook
• Ensure project data and billings are maintained in a timely and accurate manner, working with project or billing managers to ensure timely response to pre-bills to adhere to billing schedule
• Ensure our projects adhere to the necessary accounting controls, good practices, and company processes
• Post daily cash receipts as part of rotating team
• Engage effectively with resources at all levels within Manhard and at our clients
• Actively participate in the professional development of others. Increase the awareness of good project financial management practices across the firm

Qualification Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in financial roles supporting client delivery in a project-based industry (ideally professional services, out-sourcing, etc.)

Education and/or Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in financial roles supporting client delivery in a project-based industry (ideally professional services, out-sourcing, etc.) or Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Valid driver’s license

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Outstanding writing, communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word, Unanet A/E is a plus
• Must be fluent in the English language Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities as well as organizational skills
• Ability to think strategically and commercially but also a willingness to dive down into the details
• Judgment to know when to challenge something and when to lend support
• Self-motivated and proactive. High energy with a commitment to quality client service.
• Ability to work closely with Senior Client Project Managers
