Salary: $75,245 - $90,726
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene (RFMH) is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full-time Programmer Analyst I position at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI). The incumbent will develop, maintain, and enhance existing and new database applications and websites for RFMH at NYSPI. Given detailed requirements, the incumbent will successfully develop and enhance the systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Full life-cycle software development of administrative/business information systems in a research/healthcare environment. Consultation with management to ensure compliance with policy, workflow, and fulfilling the computing needs as requested.
Develop new applications and modify existing systems to improve workflow, and Ad-hoc data reporting and analysis. Test, maintain, and monitor programs and systems to ensure accuracy and correct program code as errors are discovered. Install new applications as needed.
Develop system documentation, and revise systems design, testing and quality control procedures. Maintain interactive, data driven websites. Train staff in the use of existing and new software applications and websites; act as Level 2 support for all applications and provide assistance to the users in troubleshooting application issues. Stay current on programming principles and techniques. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1+ years experience with website design utilizing each of the following:
- Windows 10 Enterprise
- Visual Studio 2019 or later
- C#.Net
- Visual Basic.Net
- Blazor
- HTML
- JavaScript
Preferred Qualifications:
Database development in Microsoft SQL Server 2016; creating and modifying stored procedures, triggers, and views w/ T-SQL.
