Job Title: Program Supervisor Mobile Crisis

The Mobile CrisisProgram Supervisor is responsible for the 24/7 day to day operation of the Range Mental Health Center Mobile Crisis program, ensuring highly effective service in full alignment with our mission to be the Provider of Choice for the people we serve, and the Employer of Choice for current and potential future employees.
- Provide coverage as a part of the Mobile Crisis team and be available to fill-in as needed due to employee absences and emergencies.
- Provide direct service to the people we support including 1:1 time, prompting, problem solving, transportation, independent living skills training, crisis assistance, and other tasks as needed and as assigned
- Directly supervise and support the Mobile Crisis team
- Support coordination of care across the continuum
- Track treatment plans and appropriate documentation to ensure service delivery meets requirements of program
- Coordinate and participate in the hiring process, orientation, and the ongoing educational requirements for program employees
- Responsible for scheduling of Mobile Crisis direct service employees
- Monitor workflow and assign employees as needed to ensure delivery of services in accordance with all pertinent regulatory and statutory requirements
- Be on-call to field questions and provide responses and recommendations to employees
- Optimize clinically appropriate referrals within RMHC
- Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with community first responders
- Ensure clinically appropriate referrals to community providers for services not provided by RMHC, or if client preference is to seek services elsewhere
- Collect, analyze and report the data necessary a) understand program effectiveness and make changes to enhance operations, and b) to meet the reporting requirements of the RMHC administrative team, the Arrowhead Behavioral Health Initiative (ABHI), DHS, St. Louis County, and other third-party stakeholders and partners
- Provide advocacy and liaison services between RMHC and other service providers and community partners
- Provide education and information to referring sources and to the people we serve to position RMHC as the first choice for crisis care within the communities served
- Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with referral sources, area service providers, community partners, and other stakeholders
- Serve as an active member of the Range Mental Health Center leadership team, ensuring effective implementation of all organizational initiatives in alignment with our mission, vision and values
- Field and escalate, as necessary, issues of concern such as employee or client complaints and any other risks to organizational reputation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

- Ability to maintain profession and compassionate demeanor in highly stressful situations
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively utilize various software applications and hardware, including an electronic health record and Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective discernment skills to quickly identify and escalate potentially significant issues to RMHC administration
- Qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner as defined by the Minnesota Dept of Human Services. (4-year human service degree plus 2000 hours supervised mental health experience, or a Master’s degree in Human Services, or 4,000 hours supervised mental health experience).
- A mental health practitioner for a child member must have training working with children.
- A mental health practitioner for an adult member must have training working with adults.
- Experience in planning and / or delivering health or social services, programs in accordance with DHS licensing requirements preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral science or related field preferred
- Supervisory and/or Leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit and to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to deal with significant daily stress.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, and touch screen device.
- Sufficient vision to utilize a computer monitor.
- Sufficient hearing acuity to accurately record or respond to another party both in person, on the phone, and in a group setting.
