Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking to add a Program & Project Management Intern for our Miami, FL office. Our business focuses primarily on providing professional and technical services in engineering design, code consultation, and construction phase services for a wide variety of clients both in the private sector and public sector. We execute large and complex engineering projects and provide a comprehensive range of professional planning and design, systems engineering and technical assistance, program and construction management, and operations and maintenance services.

This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.

  • Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program.

  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in Project or Construction Management.

  • Ability to visit site locations.

  • Construction-related experience.

  • Strong grasp of MS Office Suite (Excel).

  • Background in reviewing construction drawings and specifications.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

  • Offered rate of compensation ( Florida locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $16.52 - $22.71/hr .
