Form of workThe JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team's success, and learn about JM Family's companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events, and much more.
The ideal candidate will be available to work part-time during the Spring and full time during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).
This internship will include tasks related to communications as well as Project Management supporting the Corporate Development team whose mission is to grow JM Family's leadership in auto and beyond via structured transactions including investments, partnerships, and acquisitions.
Your role will encompass implementing proactive and reactive communication strategies and contributing to Corporate Development's growth projects and priorities. This internship will provide opportunities for personal and professional development strengthening the company's purpose-driven and results-oriented culture while honoring our core values.

Responsibilities:
- Participate and contribute as an active member of the JM Family's Intern Program team.
- Partner with the Corporate Development team to ensure effective communication and produce supporting materials in alignment with Enterprise branding and messaging.
- Design innovative communication deliverables for internal messaging campaigns including marketing materials, announcements, and Project status updates used across several Enterprise channels including Outlook, SharePoint, Viva Engage, and the Hub.
- Develop strong relationships with functional groups across the Enterprise to support Corporate Development's growth initiatives.
- Create, prepare, and maintain stakeholder materials leveraging the Microsoft 365 Products.
- Provide support on various projects related to Corporate Development and other internal programs, ensuring they are executed successfully.
- Assist with other Corporate Development team tasks and Projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Our ideal candidate will be available to part-time in the Spring and full-time hours on-site/hybrid at our Deerfield Beach, FL offices for our 10-week summer program.
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor or Graduate degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university with a focus in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to support cross-functional communications with a wide variety of individuals, including external and internal partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High degree of skills in Microsoft Suite of Products.
- Strong ability to take initiative and work independently on projects/assignments.
- High level of integrity is required due to the confidential nature of the position in our Corporate Development department.
