PSM (Power Systems Mfg., LLC.) is seeking a variety of interests for Summer 2024 intern positions in our Jupiter, Florida location.
As a Project Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects within the PSM’s Project Management function. You will lay out plans and deliverables with your Project Management project sponsors to achieve your agreed-upon goals & outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the entire team. The Project Management intern will lay out plans and deliverables with your project sponsors to achieve your agreed-upon goals & outcomes.
- Project Management Interns will support the management team with process improvements and Master Planning Document initiatives.
- Procedural improvements and development of standard planning documents for PM’s to use during facility outages.
- Upon familiarity with PSM processes and procedures the PM Intern would have small project assignments with planning, reporting and closure.
- Special projects for continued development of PSM financial project reporting throughout the Gate review process. (Requirement for MS Excel proficiency)
- Support the Project Management team with ongoing outages, and for planning of Fall 2023 projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience presenting topics to peers, higher management, and customers.
- Proficient in computer applications relevant to operational management; including MS Office programs.
- Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project or related scheduling software.
Education
- B.S./or B.A. Level: College Junior or Senior
- Project Management internship applicants – Business Administration with focus in Project Management, Mechanical, Aerospace or other relevant Engineering majors will be preferred.
