THE ROLE:
THE PERSON:
- Building and tracking detailed hardware plans
- Coordinate requirements across a broad set of engineering teams to enable users with hardware
- Oversee the physical movement of material between multiple AMD labs
- Oversee the physical movement of material between AMD labs and customer locations
- Provide clear and timely communications to multiple stakeholders
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of the principles of project management and apply them effectively on small to large size projects
- Initiate changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiency
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years Project Management experience in ASIC development or related field
- Knowledge of a wide variety of systems and processes (SAP, SMR, RMA, etc)
- Experience working with teams across multiple locations
- Proficiency with productivity tools including Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel
- Comfortable with ambiguity and with the ability to adapt and be creative.
- Detailed oriented, self-driven with a strong sense of pride and ownership.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively as a self-starter and as part of a team
- Proactively involve team members in planning, decision-making and execution efforts
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering
- Formal project management education, PMP / Scrum Master
