Noble is hiring for a Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Program Manager that will proactively identify, report, and drive initiatives to continuously improve maintenance performance across Noble` fleet of offshore drilling units and assets. The CBM Program Manager is a key contributor and overall responsible for oversight of all condition-Based Maintenance Programs and program initiatives across Noble that include equipment in all technical disciplines such as Drilling/Traveling equipment, Well Control Equipment, Marine Riser Systems, Lifting Equipment Etc.
This position requires collaboration with Noble's Senior Management, Procurement, Asset Integrity Technical Teams, and other relevant departments to ensure successful evaluation, development, and implementation of condition-Based Maintenance Programs.
Through a structured and documented process, the CBM Program Manager is responsible with providing input and recommendations for ensuring all CBM Programs are relevant to the equipment, cost effective to implement, and are balanced for criticality and reliability.
Essential Functions
- Actively participate in setting and striving to achieve the Company's Corporate and Department annual goals.
- Develop and update policies, procedures, audits, etc. associated with Noble`s Condition Based Maintenance programs.
- Gather, structure, and report on recommendations of details of all CBM and CM programs utilized and being evaluated to be utilized throughout the fleet.
- Identify industry trends in CBM development and areas for reduction in maintenance burdens.
- Maintain and further develop condition monitoring systems. i.e., Vibration, oil, fatigue, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to evaluate, develop, plan, and oversee execution of CBM Programs for multiple equipment/system types.
- Assist in creating analytical programs and review systemic failures, downtime events, and maintenance history to provide recommended actions for CBM programs driven to provide continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Reliability Engineer to identify possible areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Submit progress reports to management on CBM program evaluation, development, and implementation.
- Continue to follow and monitor trends or changes in class or industry regulations in regard to CBM.
- Provide input on Noble`s behalf to industry organizations and working groups such as IADC, API, CRF, ASME, etc.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or of equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience with condition-Based Maintenance.
- Familiar with current CBM technology and trends
- Detailed understanding of maintenance strategies and applicability
- Experienced with applicable industry and regulatory codes, standards, and recommended practices.
- Detailed understanding of Condition Monitoring techniques that include but not limited to vibration analysis, oil analysis, ultrasound, etc.
- Excellent project management skills
- Full proficiency in English
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy with preference of experience working with computerize maintenance management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other appropriate software
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- This position requires, at minimum, intermediate negotiation skills.
- This position requires critical and strategic thinking.
- Strong organization skills, an ability to multi-task, work under pressure, establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.
