Position Summary The Neurodiversity Navigators (NdN) Program Manager position is the focal point for the program for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating. This position assists higher-level staff and reports to the NdN Director. The Program Manager position manages the work of lower-level part-time staff and provides direct student services as needed.

Their primary responsibilities include maintaining multiple existing quarterly systems, managing contact database of incoming inquiries and network contacts, extracting and compiling reports on data from multiple software, scheduling of multiple events, management of a large amount of documentation on cloud storage, and supervision of work designated for part-time office support staff and part-time peer mentors. The Program Manager position continually assesses program participants' needs and develops specialized services and training unique to the program. They are responsive to the needs of participants and work individually with students and peer mentors as needed.

They provide comprehensive administrative organization including recordkeeping, compiling and interpreting student data, answering public inquiries and appointment/room scheduling for program staff and students. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $57,984/year - $78,096/year The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations.

Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. We offer comprehensive compensation package with salary and benefits as the main components. Competitive salary is within the Range stated above, and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

About the Department The Neurodiversity Navigators program (NdN) is a well-established college access and cohort program that provides educational opportunities and access support for all neurodivergent students taking any program of study at the College. NdN began in 2010 as a pilot program sponsored by a Foundation mini-grant and has grown to a nationally recognized program, serving 150 students in its main program and over 300 students in tiered services.

Program services are available to all estimated 2000 neurodivergent students at the college. The program includes the Neurodiversity Navigators cohort and the Disabled Students Navigating STEM (DSNS) cohort, which serves students with any type of disability pursuing a degree in STEM. NdN is part of the RISE Learning Institute and reports to the Associate Dean of RISE.

This program serves as a reference for Bellevue College faculty and staff, offering information and training in neurodiversity related issues and promoting inclusion in academics, the workplace, and in the community. Essential Functions Recruiting, Managing, Supporting Part-Time Staff, including peer mentors Serves as primary program contact for part-time staff. Organizes daily tasks and supervises the work of peer mentors and part-time office support staff.

Places ads in Handshake for new peer mentors and emails university contacts. Maintains online Canvas training modules, and works with Director to deliver introductory and ongoing training for peer mentors. Tracks availability of peer mentors for scheduling and substitute purposes.

Consults with Director regarding staff concerns. Works with Director to monitor Weekly Reports and hold weekly meetings with part-time peer mentors. Maintains and updates weekly document templates, including agendas, emails, handouts, and more.

Admissions, Advising and Scheduling Coordinate selective admissions process including inquiries, set up for information meetings, documentation of participants, collecting and monitoring applications of prospective students, and coordinate new student assessment appointments. In collaboration with Director, perform complex scheduling including needs of all staff involved, and creating quarterly meeting schedules for students. Monitor quarterly enrollment and class caps, maintaining and sending permission codes to students, ensuring students are properly registered to stay on track for graduation.

Supporting new student registration and referral to campus services, communicating with incoming students and their families as needed. Data & Systems Management Monitors and tracks student eligibility and participation in NdN and DSNS activities; determines future need in consultation with higher level staff Use word processing, graphics, statistical, spreadsheet and data base software maintaining data for future, current and past students, peer mentor work, program effectiveness, outcomes assessments, and budgeting documentation. Organization and maintenance of online cloud-based content and data for program.

Manage inventory of electronics, event necessities, office supplies, etc. Analyze data to identify program needs/operations. Budget support & Purchasing Send budget reports to Director monthly, and meets with Director regularly to discuss corrective action if needed, Manages P-Card purchases and reconciliation.

Event Planning & Organization Provides comprehensive administrative management for events & activities Coordinate arrangements for program activities such as meetings, conferences, and special events, Order, receive, write, and edit program publications, documents, schedules, reports, flyers, and newsletters for internal and external distribution. Professional Development & Proactive Planning Anticipates potential conflict and attempts resolution before problems occur; plans, evaluates, and consults with higher-level staff to identify problems, explores solutions and alternatives, and recommends resolutions designed to meet the goals and objectives of NdN Regular meetings with Director, Continued professional development Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent education/experience.

A minimum of two (2) years of full-time clerical experience. A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with students with disabilities or other marginalized populations. Proficient in Microsoft Suite tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to complete complex word processing tasks such as merging and sorting, integrating text with graphics, spreadsheet and data base files, uploading and downloading and creating footnotes and outline. Proficient at reading and writing; excellent composition, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and problem solve student related issues.

Ability to work with diverse colleagues and/or students in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Preferred Qualifications One (1) or more years of experience supervising part-time staff. Experience in program management and evaluation.

Previous experience working with Autistic and/ or Neurodivergent college students. Previous experience working within a social justice model of disability. Knowledge of college processes, procedures and available student resources.
