WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
Manage program to ensure that implementation and defined activities are carried out by specified objectives. Planned, designed, and implemented programs and services in the assigned program areas. Monitor and analyze program activity and identify areas for improvement. May perform activities that support funding and proposal initiatives. Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. The focus will be Lab Services.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD:
  • Reviewing and analyzing all incoming contracts for compliance with legal and other company policy requirements.
  • Review and negotiate all incoming contract changes requested by internal and external stakeholders to ensure that contract activities are in full compliance.
  • Perform activities relating to the implementation, evaluation, design, and management of programs or services.
  • Perform administrative, fiscal, and inventory duties as needed to support program operations.
  • Monitor program activities and develop status reports for management review.
  • Collect and analyze data, identify areas of need and/or improvement, and develop recommendations for program improvement.
  • Administer processes within assigned program areas.
  • Analyze operating practices and recommend revisions to improve established procedures.
  • May perform activities that support funding and proposal initiatives.
  • Develop and cultivate professional relationships with key internal & and external partners/organizations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the program or service and the ability to create presentations and develop training modules.
  • Excellent oral and communication skills, including training and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills to develop creative processes for continuous program or service improvements.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • Travel may be required.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience reading and negotiating contract language.
  • Experience creating reports in Excel and using data to develop strategies.
  • Knowledge of Biomedical Service laboratories.
Pay Information: $85,000-$95,000
