The North America regional office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), based in Washington, DC, is looking for an InternationalProgram Manager (mid-level position) for its World Order and Globalization Hub project. Our work aims at fostering political dialogue among political, business, scientific and cultural multipliers from around the world.

The working languages for this role are German and English. Interested candidates must have professional working proficiency in both languages.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to develop an International Program of political relevance that creates both networks and content with high visibility
- Organizational and conceptual project management of complex international study tours, workshops, and panel discussions
- Content-related evaluation of the programs, including composing position papers based on the thematic focus of the programs
- Establishing and maintaining contacts to project-related partner organizations
- Preparing all project-related proposals and reports for the Foundation’s funding provider
- Developing and managing an annual budget for the Hub’s annual projects, including study tours, workshops, and policy papers
- Managing the process of policy reports from start to finish, including developing concepts, selecting partners from experts in Washington, and editing and finalizing publications
Qualifications:
- Completed MA degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Communication Studies or similar
- Relevant experience in managing projects
- Experience in working with political institutions and stakeholders
- Excellent English and German language skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as a particularly keen sense for working in diverse, international networks
- Exemplary capacity for teamwork and ability to work well as part of a small team
- High degree of independence and readiness to contribute to the conceptual development of the projects of our office
- Identification with the goals of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom
