Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Program Manager to join our Peraton Team. Serving as the primary technical and managerial interface between the Contractor, CO, and COR. The solicitation is for support of the following: 1. Data storage and protection 2. Server/Compute 3. Network 4. IT facilities 5. Database hosting 6. Application hosting 7. Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations Planning.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Manage one or more projects or programs, may manage an operating office and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines.
- Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Acts as a technical liaison with vendors. Trains and supervises personnel.
- Prepare Staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff. Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete task.
- Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance. Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
Required qualifications:
- BS 16-18, MS 14+, Phd 10+ and 20 years experience in lieu of degree
- Must have at least 7 years of experience managing contracts of similar scope and size (scope is detailed above) size would be experience leading the operations of an Enterprise Datacenter (60 – 100 staff)
- Should have knowledge of industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, the Project Management Institute (PMI), Lean IT, Agile practices, as well as DevSecOps.
- Must be certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), certified Project Management Professional (PMI), or equivalent certification, and have experience in project management, budget, and forecasting toolsets.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the most current Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards and must complete, at a minimum, the ITIL Foundations certification within three months of beginning support on this contract, if not previously completed.
- Onsite in Rockville, Bethesda or Frederick
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired qualifications:
- Experience with NIH/NCI highly desired
- Practical experience with HHS EPLC
