Introduction:
The Maryland Public Service Commission (“MDPSC”) Office of General Counsel seeks a full-time Attorney to provide legal and policy advice to the Commission on a wide array of matters related to the regulation of gas, electric, transportation, telecommunications and other industries.

• Providing analysis, advice and support to the Commission on matters pending before it and on matters before
• other State and federal regulatory agencies;
• Reviewing, evaluating and providing analysis of applications, transactional documents, testimony and
• pleadings submitted to the Commission;
• Preparing draft Commission orders;
• Providing oral and written briefings on matters of interest to the Commission;
• Litigating cases in State and federal courts, and appearing before federal regulatory agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: A Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent degree from an ABA-accredited school of law.
Experience: Five years of legal experience.
Candidates must be admitted to the Maryland Bar.
