Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage material capital plan supply to meet existing and new product demand requirements to meet business objectives, coordinating with Demand Planning on changes to demand which impacts delivery of key components as demand needs fluctuate.
- Proactive communication of new product capital plans and status to internal customers.
- Support the development and presentation of the quarterly spend approval process for all critical equipment.
- Identify and quickly solve funding gaps and inefficiencies.
- Clearly document process solutions and requirements. .
- Define and manage clear business metrics and goals to manage supply chain performance.
- Leverage Market Intelligence and Statistical inputs towards driving governance, continued, sustained improvements of inventory models and supply chain buffers.
- Develop short and long term capital forecast models to support material supply, minimize.
- total costs and inventories while maintaining service levels, develop and justify funding and capital allocation strategies that optimize cost and flexibility.
- BS or MS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Finance & Accounting or equivalent practical experience in relevant industry.
- Project management experience with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in using Material Resource Planning (MRP) Tools.
- High spreadsheet/database capabilities able to create models and maneuver within spreadsheets/databases to manage supply chain processes.
- Proven process improvement experience; high process mapping capabilities with Visio, Lucid charts, or other equivalent tools.
- 10 years experience in supply chain operations or planning within the tech industry.
- Expertise in Analytics / SQL / BigQuery.
- Knowledge of financial and cost accounting practices.
- Deep knowledge of S&OP processes and experience in development and implementation of planning systems and processes.
- Understanding and experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and tools.
- Experience in planning materials for new product launches and transitions.
