Summary:

Powin’s Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for helping the company prioritize, orchestrate, and oversee mission critical strategic initiatives and transformative programs. These programs are fundamental to Powin’s continued growth and positioning as a global leader in the stationary energy storage space. As a Program Manager, this position helps manage the transformational changes that will occur across our product design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities.

Job Details:

• Lead multiple product-focused programs covering early prototyping and design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, and reporting/KPIs
• Define and guide the centralized reporting, governance, communications, and planning processes related to core initiatives and programs overseen by the PMO. Proactively and consistently communicate program statuses, risks, and blockers to key stakeholders and the broader organization.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team and other business owners to define a roadmap and long-term strategy related to advancing Powin’s platform for defining new products and delivering them to market
• Work cross-functionally with teams to identify and address information and knowledge gaps to fully understand a program’s benefits and risks, including incorporating the right resources and expertise
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Success, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure all stages of the process are complete for formal reviews. This will include any change management with product introduction.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and program changes across functions and teams effectively by continuously optimizing program scopes and schedules
• Define and own key metrics and KPIs that track program quality and performance indicators
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of program management experience
• Experience managing programs and technical projects using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Project
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with Agile project management practices and coaching
• Proven ability to drive project initiatives to completion, including handling multiple program and projects at one time
• Adaptable to changes in scope
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally verbally and in writing
• Ability to work cross functionally, explain designs and concepts to others with different backgrounds/degrees
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support international teams
• Limited travel requirements
