Internship Programs at CommScope

Our Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you with an invaluable work experience through meaningful projects that will help you grow and develop both personally and professionally.
Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on-the-job training, participating in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events!
How You'll Help Us Connect the World
As a Product Management Intern, you will be responsible for support, organization and leadership reviewing and deploying changes to the BCI PDP (Product Development Process) documents. You will work closely with the PMO (Project Management Office) to deploy changes and assist with implementing standard processes for all functions of our business. This role will be based in Richardson, Texas.
You Will Make an Impact By
  • Reviewing current procedures and shadow Project Managers to observe the PDP process
  • Working with a small group of members from the PMO to incorporate document changes
  • Creating training material on new and/or revised procedures
  • Assisting in creating and performing KPI reports using Power BI
  • Shadowing and/or assisting in the management of a PDP project

Required Qualifications for Consideration
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master's degree in the following: Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business from an accredited university
  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
  • Have a general understanding, proficiency, and curiosity about how things are made and how can be made better.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
  • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
