The Program Facilitator will be the first point of contact for incoming students during the orientation and assessment process. The Program Facilitator must be able to work virtually as well as in person to connect participants with the classroom, assist in reduction of barriers, career exploration, job search, placement and retention program services and related training, in-house or community based. The Program Facilitator is responsible for facilitating individual service plan development and supporting participants in accessing the full menu of needed and available services to attain established goals. This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to orienting and assessing participants, helping to develop, implement and document goals and goal plans. This position is a community-based position.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complete required enrollment and orientation paperwork for all participants.
- Develop transition and goal plans with students and instructors, conduct workshops on applicable transition topics, and conduct exit interview students to determine next steps and reason for leaving.
- Provide referrals to career services for job specific training, support and ensuring that individuals' needs are met, goals are implemented, and a safe environment is maintained.
- Facilitate formal assessment for incoming students during the orientation process. Maintain state required adult assessment certifications.
- Monitor and report all outcomes including placement, employer, wages, benefits, hours, job retention and other stated outcomes (such as education, training, etc.) to Goodwill and PDE.
- Develop and manage volunteer classroom aids and tutors.
Travel Required: Yes, travel is required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 8:00pm - schedule varies
External Hiring Range: $37,960.00 - $37,478.40/year
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (Education/Teaching or related)
Additional Qualifications:
- Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) upon hire.
- Tuberculosis test at hire.
