Department: Administrative Office
Job Status: Full Time (Salaried)
Position: Program Director / Office manager
Grade/Level: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Amount of Travel Required: Up to 50% (local travel)
Work Schedule: Typically, mornings & Afternoons; some weekend days.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / EXPECTATIONS
1. Supervise program participants in the completion of their daily routines, implementing programs utilized in the home.
· Hire, train and supervise Program Managers for assigned group home Programs. Provide adequate job descriptions, training, evaluation, discipline, termination, feedback and support necessary for them to be successful in their duties.
5. Responsible for regular on-call duties.
6. Responsible for all aspects of the financial and operational management of the group home including equipment purchases, repair and maintenance, monitoring and controlling budgeted expenses,
8. Responsible for assuring that the group home meets the agency’s standards for cleanliness and appearance.
9. Responsible for all aspects of licensing compliance, including health and safety regulations, monitoring maintenance needs of the facility and equipment assigned to the home, and ensuring that all paperwork and records regarding personnel or on-site record keeping meet licensing requirements, other than case files.
11. Responsible for carrying out various assignments in community relations which may include communication with legal guardian, employment resources, community presentations and/or speaking engagements, communication with the agency Board of Directors,
12. Supervise the home maintenance.
Managerial
● Overseeing the quality of life in all aspects of care for the individuals
who choose Surecare Home care’s Place services including health, safety, nutrition.
● Assure thorough training for all in-home staff occurs including
documentation, and communication expectations, licensing standards,
event participation, etc.
● Assure home/program compliance with all state and federal licensing
Regulations.
● Communication and team building with families.
● Monitor and audit to ensure that adequate and fiscally responsible
staffing occurs in the homes.
● Assure the maintenance needs of the homes are met in a timely
manner.
● Be available for emergency on-call rotation as scheduled.
● Staff committees as assigned.
● Other position specific duties may be assigned.
Operations
● Assure all environmental safety guidelines are met in the home.
● Ensure the interior AND exterior home environment that is attractive,
neat and clean. (Coordinator can do this)
● Ensure the homes maintain an adequate supply inventory.

Licensing/Quality Assurance
· Ensure adequate preparation for all on site licensing visits for all residential
programs. Be present at all on site visits.
· Complete and return all licensing renewal applications in a timely manner.

Budgetary responsibilities
· Provide budgetary information to Executive Director or Financial Director as
requested.
· Provide Financial Director with original, itemized receipts for all purchases
made on behalf of Home Life.
· Responsible with assisting to keep payroll costs within budgeted amounts.
Home Maintenance
· Ensure that programs are maintaining their properties, so they are safe for
clients and staff.
Development
· Review all new referrals for service. Attend entry meetings for all new
clients.
· Participate in new planning and development as requested by the Executive
Director.
