Local Propritary School providing health care career courses is looking for a Program Director to help oversee the direction and management of the school. The hours are part time and flexible. Training available to the right canidate.

Duties include:

·Directly supervise staff and ensure the school is in compliance with propritary school regulations.

Communicate effectively with proprietary schools leadership

Be available for regional meetings, in person audits, and be available for phone calls/emails with program consultants.

Assist with marketing efforts

Assist in reviewing, revising, and evaluate program curriculums and instructional development;

Develop and maintain productive relations with those businesses, industries, medical facilities, and other organizations in the community that are pertinent to the program

Help the school with gaining and maintaining clinical facilities for student externships and clinical

Maintain positive relationships with clinical sites’ staff and leadership

Help with the recruitment, hiring and training of full and part-time instructors

Communicate effectively with students, Faculty/Staff, residents and families of residents, and staff at clinical facilities

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, or MSN Nursing Degree

Holds an unencumbered license to practice as an RN in North Carolina.

Must have at least two years of experience (4,000 hours) as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States including the supervision of nurse aides.

Previous teaching or precepting experience preferred.

Two years of Long Term Care experience preferred.

All instructor positions are contingent upon enrollment.

All employees are paid by direct deposit.

Candidates are required to submit official transcripts for all degrees obtained prior to their first day of work or hire date.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
