Job Description
The Program Director manages all aspects of behavioral health care services in the Children, Youth and Family Division. The Program Director must apply a multidisciplinary approach to promote optimum outcomes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health clients. The Program Director manages multiple programs in accordance with behavioral health contracts, establishing quality measures for mental health service providers division-wide (including all School Based and Clinical service clinicians). Under the clinical oversight of the Clinical Director, manages and oversees clinical mental health services including but not limited to establishing clinical practice policy and protocols, case conferencing, quality assurance & improvement, reviewing treatment plans while setting the pace for a high-performance, productive program and operational and administrative excellence.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in social work, psychology, and counseling or related field required.
- LCSW, MFT, LPCC PREFERRED
- At least three years prior experience in administration, coordination with supervision of mental health and/or case management/counseling services programs required
- Prior work experience in a social services or healthcare setting as a direct client services provider (i.e. case management, social worker, or other) highly preferred.
- Knowledge of San Francisco Community Behavioral Health Services and community resources
