Program Data Analyst I

Research, compile, analyze and evaluate data and prepare reports for an assigned area using automated systems and tools; perform a variety of administrative and end-user technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility; and to update, develop and maintain basic end-user data base systems to track and report Program Data.

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in business, information systems, social sciences or related field; and
Five (5) years of experience in data collection and data maintenance, research, analysis and report preparation.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession Of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.

• Plan, prioritize and organize projects
• Perform routine data analysis duties
• Perform data entry into a database
• Maintain various types of records and contract documentation
• Use personal computers and standard office software packages and Internet applications
• Troubleshoot various basic personal computer and end-user software problems
• Learn methods and techniques used in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of end-user data systems
• Learn to implement and maintain end-user data systems and supporting hardware and software applications
• Communicate clearly and concisely
• Research, analyze, and evaluate programs, policies, and procedures
• Prepare a variety of administrative and/or financial reports
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
