This is a hybrid position offering both work from home and office scheduling. This role will also require a great deal of travel throughout Massachusetts to host trainings.
Qualifications/Credentials
- Priority will be given to African American, Latin, and Asian individuals who possess lived experience in Recovery
- Training or education in business management/computer systems
- Respects and advocates for all paths to recovery
- Excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details.
- Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including professional and pleasant telephone skills
- Must be skilled in the use of software programs such as MS Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
- Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
What you will be doing to make a difference
Assist with the overall coordination of the 10 DPH/BSAS Peer Recovery Support Trainings.
Use your creativity to create newsletter and manage social media content
Participate in planning and coordination of trainings (both in person and on-line)
Work with a team of passionate and committed partners
Provide technical support to the REC workgroups
Respond and problem solve requests and inquiries
Ensure that the team has supplies, swag, and marketing materials
Coordinates accessibility needs for trainers, participants, and events
Play a pivotal role in championing diversity and inclusion, ensuring our programs reflect the richness of experiences and ideas that make us stronger together.
