What You'll Do: Become a key player in our Mental Health Services program by joining as an Administrative Support Specialist. Under the guidance of the Mental Health Services Director and Assistant Directors, you will contribute to the overall organization and ongoing quality assurance of the program. Responsibilities include covering desks as needed, providing a welcoming environment for families and guests at the reception desk, and actively participating in the annual evaluation of staff. You will manage facility and IT needs using specialized work order trackers, complete and track flex funds and check requests, and review invoices for submission to Finance. Additionally, you will ensure accurate and timely completion of various reports and rosters, maintain client files in adherence to HIPAA regulations, and coordinate appointments with providers. Requirements to Apply:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associated degree in related field and/or work experience in child development or social service field preferred;
- Excellent typing, transcription, grammar, spelling, punctuation and editing skills;
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet
- Knowledge of DMH intranet and Medi-Cal billing preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with clients, visitors, volunteers, and employees.
- Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
