Mayvin is seeking a Program Analyst II responsible for supporting The Office of Congressional Affairs (OCA). The Program Analyst II will assist OCA in providing lawmakers with information regarding USMS’s missions and activities, respond to Congressional inquiries, and coordinate the nominations of United States Marshals.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must undergo a background investigation (BI)
Responsibilities:
- Prepares correspondence as needed for management signature
- Prepares reports, memoranda, briefing papers, and other written material for internal and external use
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with Presidential Nominees, internal employees, and outside sources
- Interpret existing rules, regulations, and USMS policies
- Develops and analyzes program resource requests
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Interpret federal government's regulations during the nomination process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have at least three (3) years of proven experience in the abovementioned duties
- Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Exhibit a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and effectively
- Advance skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Former Capitol Hill experience as an intern or staff member
