Come join us! Mobius is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Information Assurance/SSO Navy, Background Investigation Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information within our organization, particularly within the Navy context. You will play a crucial role in conducting background investigations and assessments to identify potential insider threats and ensure the protection of classified information.
Duties of the Program Security Analyst may include:
- Supporting the Project Management of the Navy background investigation process, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved within budget constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address project concerns and mitigate risks effectively.
- Data Management and Analysis: Utilizing database management and the development of data tools to organize and analyze investigative data effectively. Identify patterns, anomalies, or indicators of insider threats through thorough analysis and reporting.
- Policy Development: Assisting in the development and implementation of high-level Navy security policies and procedures related to background investigations, clearance processes, and information assurance. Stay abreast of evolving security threats and regulations to ensure our policies remain current and effective.
- Developing analysis reports will provide an evaluation of current or planned capabilities or policies and impacts to the Navy program.
- Develop, implement, and maintain information assurance protocols to support the safeguarding of sensitive data and classified information. Support the development of security policies and procedures in accordance with Navy standards and regulations.
- Helping ensure compliance with Navy Security Service Office (SSO) requirements and guidelines. Coordinating with Sr Navy officials to facilitate necessary clearances and approvals for personnel access to classified information.
Requirements
· The contractor shall be an efficient listener, able to effectively articulate and, clearly present, promote varied ideas and issues, including sensitive, controversial topics, to various Sr level audiences; and make clear and convincing oral presentations as required.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting background investigations and managing information assurance within a Navy or related military context.
- 100% on-site, NSF Arlington, VA. (SCIF based position)
- Subject to Navy Insider Threat Random Polygraph.
Preferred Experience
- Understanding of the conduct of the Navy Background Investigation process.
- Proficiency in administrative skills related to database management and data tool development.
- Familiarity with policy development, systems engineering, and analysis.
- Experience with clearance processes and project management.
Clearance Requirement
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Pay: $96,195.88 - $115,848.80 per year
