Your day-to-day work will include:

The Program Project and Control Integration Specialist will provide integration support to the Integration Power and Propulsion Element and Gateway Program under the NASA CPSS contract at Glenn Research Center (GRC).

  • Perform monitoring and analyzing of program status.
  • Utilize technical skillset to develop and integrate Project reporting products (ie SFS, CMC , Code Mission Days, Code M Quarterlies, Hot Topics, PPE Technical Cost Schedule, Gateway Quarterlies and etc.)
    • Perform monitoring and analyzing of program status.
  • Establish and maintain proficiency in business support tools to assist with integration of data for reporting and responses to actions.
  • Update the PPE Project Plan and As Needed, Other Governing Documents.
  • Integrate PPE activities through proactive collaboration with all Project Office team members by collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, through the review of documents, and interface with key individuals to identify, plan, and implement the project and program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in meetings, planning sessions and other strategic initiatives relating to the PPE/Gateway Program.
  • Assist in coordinating and tracking audit actions from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and Office of Inspector General (OIG).

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior NASA experience preferred but not required.
  • Desired 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Strong analytical skillset and the ability to think critically, STEM background a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable

Additional Requirements:

  • Work Environment- Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
  • Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (5% of time).
  • Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
  • Attendance- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
  • Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts Degree desired or equivalent work experience.

Work hours:

Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.

Security Clearance:

For most positions at Aeyon, a candidate must have or be able to obtain a company sponsored security clearance. A security clearance is like a background check. It is required for individuals who are hired for US government jobs or any organization that handles information pertaining to national security. The security clearance process ensures your ability to securely access, manage, and protect classified information. Although the security clearance process involves several stages, the key steps to obtaining and maintaining a security clearance are pre-investigation, investigation, adjudication, and reinvestigation.
