This position is part of the Office of Environmental Management - Consolidated Business Center, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be analyzing and optimizing financial assistance functions with the aim of increasing efficiency and maximizing productivity.Qualifications:
GS-13: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
- Interpreting, reviewing and analyzing broad policies, regulations, procedures, and system(s) requirements to determine their impact on local operations; AND
- Developing data required for use in the Management and direction of programs; AND
- Providing advice and guidance on alternatives and resolutions to problems.
GS-14: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
- Serving as an analyst or advisor to senior program officials with responsibility for analyzing and evaluating a major mission-critical program and its operations or an agency (or organization) wide functional program office with impact across field components; AND
- Applying a wide range of qualitative or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness; AND
- Advising on policy strategies and establishing programmatic controls to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory commitments.
