Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (Supervisor), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst will perform the more responsible and complex analytical, staff services task related to planning and coordination of assignments related to the implementation of California’s Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) Program within the California Department of Aging (CDA). As a lead, the incumbent works in a team environment and in collaboration with CDA team, other State department representatives, the ADRC Advisory Committee, designated and emerging ADRCs, and other ADRC stakeholders. The incumbent supports the vision, mission, and goals of the ADRC and is a full participant in team decision-making, strategy formulation, and problem resolution. The incumbent is able to manage multiple priorities, has knowledge of a broad range of programs for older adults and people with disabilities, and promotes cooperation, collaboration, and coordination between organizational partnerships.
This position is willing to consider hiring at the Staff Services Analyst level.
New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable. Placement to alternate range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.

Department Information
The California Department of Aging (CDA) administers programs that serve older adults, adults with disabilities, family caregivers, and residents in long-term care facilities throughout the State. The Department administers funds allocated under the federal Older Americans Act, the Older Californians Act, and through the Medi-Cal program.
Special Requirements
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code . The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
