The Program Manager is responsible for executing the day to day operations of their assigned captive(s) handling most of the technical aspects related to brokers, members and carrier partners.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in a related discipline and at least five (5) years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
- Collaborate effectively with Captive Executive & Business Development team to assure alignment on new and renewal activities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing activities of your captive Program Management support team. Including communicating requirements of assigned duties and offering constructive feedback in collaboration with Unit Leader.
- Demonstrate understanding of captive program formula and risk sharing allocation
- Oversee and/or prepare and submit documentation to underwrite renewal business, new business, board book, and captive reviews
- Oversee and approve premium collections and financial reconciliation with captive domicile manager
- Accountable to assure all documentation for captive program is up to date and aligned with Board of Directors elected changes (proposals, slide shows, renewal books)
- Oversee day to day operation of the assigned captive at the Captive Executives direction
- Oversee the establishment of learning plan(s) for PC/SPC and assure execution
- Making presentations at broker workshops and board meetings, as needed
- Assist with team and/or enterprise-wide projects
