Purpose of the Position: The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will be responsible for implementation of the talent attraction and acquisition programs to source, identify, and hire qualified and diverse candidates. Also responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and onboarding support to the HR Department to ensure that objectives are accomplished with established timelines.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Complete 10+ scheduled interviews daily and send out 12 offer letters weekly for the pediatric and education departments.
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and leadership team to develop talent attraction and acquisition strategy and action plans aligned for the company.
• Work closely with the PQ Talent Management team to assess, identify, and provide program participant training and development opportunities.
• Provide administrative support for HR Coordination Dept.
• Follow the Talent Acquisition team processes and procedures, update and create new guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed and ensure consistency with EEOC guidelines.
• Responsible for entering employee changes into Clear Company and ADP WorkforeceNow Hris
• Provide accurate and timely recruitment reporting in our ATS/HRIS system.
• Monitor and report on talent attraction and acquisition trends and market intelligence.
• Responsible for communicating pay and status changes to employees. Answer general questions regarding employment policies and benefits, maintain electronic files, I-9's and other HR related documents to ensure compiance
• Crowdsources potential candidates and assists with promoting hiring events.
• Use Facebook, LinkedIn, local organizations, Zip Recruiter, and other job boards to contact candidates available for work.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the department

Minimum Skills or Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 2+ years of progressive experience successfully achieving Talent Acquisition hiring objectives.
• Deep knowledge of hiring strategy development, related workforce planning program development, and project management.
• Must be able to handle employee-sensitive and business information with utmost confidentiality.
• Compelling communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to clarify and summarize key issues and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent data, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement.
• Experience with applicant tracking, recruitment reporting, and HRIS systems.
• Superior attention to detail, takes initiative, and is a self-starter.
• Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (like video or panel interviews)
• Understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to take ownership and drive projects/issues to completion.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background and TB Clearance

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
• Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 30-50 lbs.
• Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
• The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
