SheerID is seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our Professional Services team as a Professional Services Engineer, playing a key role in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and our clients' needs. The position combines customer-facing consulting with hands-on front-end software development, providing an exciting and dynamic work environment.
Technical Implementation Consulting Duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives.
- Lead technical discussions to define software solutions and implementation strategies.
- Provide clients with best practice guidance on software configuration, customization, and integration to match their requirements.
Front-End Software Development Duties:
- Develop and maintain front-end components of software solutions to meet client specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the front-end functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Work closely with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing Duties:
- Partner closely with your project manager counterpart to ensure client deadlines are met and any technical challenges are quickly resolved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer experience, solutions, product management, and support, to ensure client success.
- Share knowledge and insights within the company to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Remain up-to-date on new product releases & functionality, ensuring we’re prepared to support client adoption.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical consulting, software implementation, and front-end development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience with Team-based software development practices and platforms, for example Agile/Scrum, Git, Jira, Jenkins.
- Experience working with clients in the European market is a significant plus, as this will be a key function within the role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; in both spoken and written formats.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving client needs with the proper sense of urgency.
