Responsibilities:

• Mental Health professionals step into a coaching role: helping a client be proactive and implement the changes they want to see in their homes and lives
• Processing emotions and issues around recovery in the moment when they are happening
• Working through triggers in real time and helping clients develop new interests and discover the ways in which life can be enjoyable
• Assist clients in: creating a schedule, find work or apply for schools, build a solid support network, create and maintain healthy social relationships, and set up/maintain treatment
• Provide and facilitate conversations between clients and family to help rebuild/repair their relationship
• Accompany clients to meetings, appointments and recreational activities.

Qualifications:

• Master’s level counselor - Preferred
• 2 years of experience working in Eating Disorder residential treatment
• Strong background in Eating Disorder Recovery
• Malpractice insurance

About the Role:

We believe life happens at home and it is the role of our coaches to meet clients where they are and help them build (or re-build) their best lives. Home, not rehab, is where our triggers are therefore our coaches assist clients in navigating these triggers in a positive and healthy way. We're looking for someone with a strong background in Eating Disorder Recovery . Each coach’s role is specifically tailored to the needs of the individual client. The coach is picked in order to provide a “best-fit match” to ensure success. Coaches work with us on a case-by-case basis depending on fit and schedule of clients. Coaches often focus on helping clients to build a schedule and solid recovery network. When we see clients successful with our coaches, we continue to contract with them for other cases nearby.
