Job Description:
Job Summary
Work as an analyst in the Renewables and Energy Efficiency organization. Job is to provide support for energy efficiency project databases and tools for various energy efficiency programs, with a focus on the energy savings measures and calculations. Position will also be responsible for overseeing QA/QC of new tools and ensuring incentives are calculated and logged correctly into our project management system.
Job Responsibilities
Develop excel calculators for eTRM (electronic Technical Resource Manual) updates based on NJ TRM23
Work with EM&V to incorporate updates from the Joint Utility
Conduct validation and testing of calculators once the ECM has been configured in eTRACK+
Work with Engineering and EM&V to track escalations and issue resolution
Work with IT team to ensure data is being migrated from eTRM to eTRACK+
Work with Engineering team to create reports through eTRACK+ reporting module
Test eTRACK+ enhancements and update reports to reflect the enhancements.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required:
B.S. in any discipline
Demonstrated teamwork skills on critical projects or initiatives
Ability to perform rudimentary energy savings calculations, given formulas and relevant standards. Analyze results and confirm accuracy of outputs, identify output errors.
Ability to work independently on most technical issues and also work well in a team environment
Familiarity with or willingness to learn the applicable industry standards such as ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, NJCEP Protocols (Technical Reference Manual), building codes and best practices.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making skills, strong planning and organizing skills, must be adaptable and be results-oriented.
Ability to write and speak concisely
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & MS Word)
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and maintain a safe driving record
Desired:
Advanced skills in Excel such as complex formulas and VBA Macros
Experience conducting energy efficiency calculations.
