Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for contributing to the strategic direction, P&L growth, and digital experience for the Home Appliance business on Samsung.com by developing new digital products and promotions, delivering a best-in-class digital customer experience, and scaling the direct-to-consumer (DtC) channel within Samsung. Key areas of responsibility include: direct-to-consumer strategy implementation, cross-functional promotional and product development, on-site merchandising and digital experience optimization, identifying and driving operational efficiencies, and building a best-in-class shopping experience. Work on the DtC business for Home Appliance products on Samsung.com by implementing aspects category development including top line growth, promotional and marketing plans, internal / external / HQ partnerships, supply chain and distribution, and long term growth strategy. Ownership of Kitchen or Laundry categories. Manage inventory, execution and tracking across S.com. Create a best-in-class shopping experience for your business by partnering with internal stakeholders across Merchandising, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and Customer Service. Optimize and focus on removing purchase barriers and creating a customer-centric, shopping experience. Act as a Promotions Subject Matter Expert (optimize promotion design to drive topline and bottom line). Develop data-drive perspectives on the end-to-end operations of the business, from upper-funnel marketing and merchandising, to on-site path-to-purchase and experience, through conversion, fulfillment and customer service. Identify areas of opportunity and work cross-functionally to drive operational efficiencies.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related marketing role. Applicants must possess 2 years of experience in the following: (1) Digital Product, Trade, or Category leadership with experience deploying data features using SQL and Tableau; (2) direct-to-consumer eCommerce technology and business practices; (4) optimizing design to drive topline and bottom line; (5) developing market entry strategies and product roadmap; (6) managing inventory, execution, and tracking of product; and (7) identifying areas of opportunity to drive operational efficiencies.
