SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Up to 20 hrs per week
DUTIES:
  • Provide direct in-person and virtual support to students in completing the FAFSA and Dream Act Application
  • Answer basic Financial Aid questions and direct students to the appropriate resources
  • Lead FAFSA and Dream Act Application workshops
  • Participate in outreach events across campus to help students and campus partners better understand the Financial Aid process
  • Participate in training events to maintain knowledge of current Financial Aid regulations
  • Support our identify-affirming empowerment programs and work primarily with our Latine/x and Black/African American students to address closing equity gaps specified in the District's student equity plan
REQUIREMENT:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and computer software programs

The District will measure your hours every month. To qualify, you must work an average of 30+ hours or more per week, within the measurement period, to be eligible for medical benefits only.
