Production Worker-Second Shift

JOB TITLE: MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION WORKER-SECOND SHIFT

JOB DESCRIPTION: There is a $2.50 per hour shift differential
● Will be cross trained in several areas and will rotate through various areas, where needed, to ensure production needs are met
● Will be trained on several lines, functions & machines
● Will need to perform assembling processes in conjunction with building furniture
● Must know how or be able to learn to program, set up and adjust machines to run acceptable quality parts with minimal down time
● Must know how or be able to learn to train in quality standards and blueprint reading
● Must know how or be able to learn to read labels
● Must know how or be able to learn to read a tape measure
● Must know how or be able to learn to use calipers
● Must have ability to follow and execute specific instructions
● Must have ability to problem solve errors in programs and reprogram when necessary
● Will perform simple visual quality inspection during the manufacturing process as well as verifying quality of own work
● Will perform work in compliance with standard operating procedures
● Will need to maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace
● Must be able to work with management and supervisors to fill production needs as defined
● Will comply with safety policies, participate in the plants safety program and be proactive with safety concerns

QUALIFICATIONS:
● Must be 18 years old to work on manufacturing floor
● High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
● Machining and manufacturing experience is desirable but not necessary
● Basic math skills required
● Ability to work within a team environment required
● Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
● Ability to problem solve required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
