Job Title: Production Worker - Opener Position

Schedule: Full-time, early AM availability required. Shift starts between 4:00 AM to 4:30 AM. Slight fluctuations in schedule may occur.

Position Type: Temporary (3-month duration) with the potential for permanent hire based on reliability and performance.

Location: Herkimer, NY

Salary: Starting rate of pay between $20-$23 per hour based on experience.

Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Worker for our Opener Position on a temporary basis for a duration of 3 months. The ideal outcome is to rollover the temporary position to a permanent position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth start of our production process. Early morning availability, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliable and punctual attendance for early morning shifts.
• Sort film according to numbered bins with high attention to detail.
• Maintain organization in the production area.
• Ensure production runs smoothly and effectively.
• Stock production items on a regular basis.
• Assist the machine operators in the manufacturing process.
• Count inventory.
• Package completed items.
• Place a priority on quality over speed.
• Provide help to others, as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Follow instructions accurately to contribute to the efficiency of operations.
• Perform quality control checks on film for defects such as scratches and color issues.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Be able to stand for long periods and lift a reasonable amount of weight.

• Previous experience working in a quality control or inspection role.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations for data entry or inventory tracking purposes.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
