ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures- Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
- Feed the production lines by picking up product and placing them onto a conveyor
- Perform daily safety checks on the Machine assigned to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Notify the Line Supervisor of any safety, quality, or maintenance problems
- Move completed product onto a rack and perform visual inspection for defect before placing onto a pallet
- Ensure the right amount of product is going onto a pallet
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Basic mathematical skills (i.e., ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)- Effective communication skills
- Team player, reliable and strong work ethic
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, required.- 1 Year general labor experience in similar setting (experience with roll formers, punch presses, brake presses preferred)
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable- Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
- Prolong standing or in stationary position
- Complete repetitive movements
- Bend and/or twist
- Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
- Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection)
