Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for performing production work in manufacturing facility. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans equipment and facility. Inspects product to ensure high quality.

• Attend to production line(s)
• Clean production area: sweep, mop, remove debris, perform sanitation tasks
• Feed or place items onto or into equipment for processing
• Ensure conformance to specifications
• Pull damaged or ineffective product off the line
• Record data
• Take instructions from supervisors
• Performing all functions of position can lead to Production Operator positions

Qualifications and/or Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred Skills

Strong communication skills, excellent teamwork, positive attitude, reliable

Additional Notes

Works under minimal supervision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to climb or balance, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, high, and precarious places. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Perform additional various tasks as delegated by Supervisor and/or Plant Manager. Position will require 8-10 hour shifts, voluntary and/or required overtime, and occasional weekends.

Hours for Positions:

First Shift: 5:00am-3:00pm Mon-Thurs

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: First shift $20.00/hour starting
