The Big Ass FansProduction Team Leadis directly responsible for the training and mentoring of our front line team. In this role, you will support front line associates in fulfilling production and quality goals and promoting operational activities to ensure a safe, efficient, and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring hourly progress and adjusting the plan as needed to accomplish goals.
  
• Work with team members, management and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement within work cell, process and production in general.
  
• Focus on implementing and enabling 5S control within work cells.
  
• Ensure operators are trained in their roles, develop new talent and ensure operators are cross-trained and rotated throughout the production day.
  
• Own the inventory of assigned work cell, including cycle counting and identifying root cause for discrepancies.
  
• Identify gaps in processes or quality controls and work with the appropriate team members to outline projects and drive to completion.
  
• Operate machinery used in the production process, and/or assist machine operators.
  
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.
  
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and/or packed items, manually or using hoists.
  
• Mark or tag identification on parts.
  
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyance.
• Must be willing to work shift which includes weekends, nights, and holidays

Requirements

• Must be familiar with and capable to learn ERP processes and tools.
• Familiarity with Google Docs a plus
• Candidate must know how to operate air & electrical tools (EX. Impact Wrench, etc.
• Knowledge and constant use of hand tools and electric screwdrivers a must
• Use of hot melt glue gun/staple gun/nail gun/drills/measuring devices
• Must be able to constantly grip, push, and pull daily
• Lifting requirements: 30+ lbs. repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hour shift
• Ability to stand throughout 8-10 hour shift
• Ability to read and follow process manuals accurately and efficiently
• Helpful if candidate can demonstrate ability to read & interpret blueprints and Bills of Material
• Recognition of hardware and associated tools required (nuts, bolts, screws, washers)
• Ability to consistently meet quality standards
• Computer skills valued & preferred
